The weekly Music at Davis concert moves to Cox Auditorium to showcase organist Gregory Hands. A professor of music from the University of Iowa, Hands will perform music by Bach and Froberger. The recital begins at 1:15 p.m.

The annual student-run Pan-African Conference begins with a keynote address at 7:30 p.m. by Emira Woods, co-director of the Foreign Policy In Focus program at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, DC. Don’t miss Titanic: The Musical, the poignant and historic tale of the tragic maiden voyage of the Titanic. This Tony Award-winning Broadway musical is the fall semester main-stage show presented by the Department of Theatre and Dance. Gary Jones, manager of the Government Relations Division of the Committee on Publication for The Mother Church, will talk about some of the healings and breakthroughs that have taken place as part of their work on healthcare reform.

The Christian Science Organization (CSO) will sponsor a Christian Science lecture titled “How to Pray Effectively and Get Results” given by Bosede Bakarey, CSB and President of The Mother Church, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel.
