What’s Happening at the School

October 4, 2012

Friday–Sunday, October 5–7, 2012
Family Weekend is finally here!

  • Celebrations kick off with a concert at 8.30 p.m. in Ridgway Auditorium on Friday, after families have spent a day visiting classes and getting a feel for “a day in the life” of their students.
  • Varsity football plays Lutheran North at home at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Be sure to come cheer them on!
  • Later on Saturday, each Upper School class is hosting a dessert party for parents, students, and other family members. Yum!

Saturday, October 13
Upper schoolers will enjoy a homecoming dance and celebration, starting at 8 p.m. Not to be outdone, our middle schoolers will have their first theme dance of the year, hosted by the students in the Roaring Twenties history class.

October 13–15 and 27–29
This month, we host two Visiting Weekends for students in grades 8–11 to experience what it’s really like to study, live, and grow in the supportive atmosphere of Upper School. For more information, go to www.principiaschool.org/visit.

Friday, October 19
Middle School’s Shake It Up, Shakespeare class performs at 7 p.m. Their previous performance of Twelfth Night was a hit—and we expect this one to be even better!

Sunday, October 28
The monthly Open Pool and Gym takes place from 3 p.m.–5 p.m. and is always a fun time for families.
